We can digitize any type of two-dimensional artwork—such as drawings and paintings—ensuring the highest reproduction quality, even at 300% magnification.
Our workflow for digitizing artworks
We works with professional scan equipment and software that allows enlargements of the printed works up to 300% compared to the original without loss of resolution.
Our scan set :
- Resolution: minimum of 300 DPI for actual-size replication, or 600 / 900 DPI if we intend to enlarge the artwork for fine art prints.
- Color Depth Capture: 24 / 48-bit color (RGB) to retain maximum tonal and color data before editing down for print.
- File Formats: Save master archives in lossless, uncompressed formats like TIFF to prevent data deterioration over time
We cooperate with artists in digitizing their original painted artworks in high resolution in order to print art multiples enlarged until 55 x 110 inches on fine art papers and canvases; In order to offer a complete service to our artists, in addition to the art multiples printing service, we can supply them mats and customized frames thanks to our framing lab
